Mila's ideal home

Mila is a sweet, five-year-old Pomeranian looking for her furever home. The youngest members of her family should be of secondary school age and able to be calm around them, while understanding the subtle signals of her body language. For example, she can be apprehensive around handling and show appeasement signs when being groomed, picked up, or when visiting the vet. Despite this, she enjoys short fusses on her own terms and will become increasingly affectionate as you take the time to get to know her. Worried by loud or sudden noises, Mila would be best suited to a calm and peaceful household, that is situated in a quieter location. She is apprehensive around medium-large breed dogs and will bark at them if they come too close. It takes a while for them to build relationships with others, and if mixing them with any dogs, it should be done so at their own pace. Mila prefers to walk where they can choose to avoid lots of other dogs and they will need to be the only pets at home.

Could you be Mila's perfect match?

Mila is an adorable lady who, despite her worries around formal handling, enjoys gentle fusses on her own terms and loves to be in the company of her people pals. Her favourite pastimes include tucking into a tasty meal, food-based enrichment activities and going on adventures with her people pals. Mila regularly spends time with our office staff here at the centre, so we think she could make excellent office buddies to adopters who work from home. Could you be this lovely lady's perfect match.

Pomeranian Buying Checklist

We highly recommend every buyer reads through the below advice when purchasing or rehoming a Pomeranian.

  • View the animal in the place it was born and raised - check for genuine home environments if buying privately, or the quality of the breeders set-up if applicable.
  • If viewing a puppy under 6 months, by law they MUST be seen with their mum.
  • Make sure the animal's old enough to be rehomed. 8 weeks should be the earliest a puppy can be rehomed.
  • By law, all dogs MUST be microchipped

Avoid Potential Scams

There are a number of red flags to look out for when purchasing a new puppy:

  • Seller demands a deposit without allowing you to see the dog first - never send any money before meeting the animal in person
  • Seller is reluctant to send you additional photos or videos
  • Seller offers to deliver the dog/puppy
  • Seller asks to meet in a mutual location
  • Seller uses fake or stolen photos from the internet. Always carry out a "Google image search".

Although we have a number of automated systems in place to prevent scam and fraudulant adverts, these can never be 100% accurate and its important to use caution when buying online. We do not accept any responsibility for transactions between our users, especially when our safe buying advice is not followed.
