Margot is a 4-year-old Shih Tzu x Pomeranian with a gentle, affectionate nature. Margot is looking for a household with a female owner, as she can be more nervous around men and will need patient introductions to build trust. A home with a secure garden would suit her well, as she is used to having the freedom to potter in and out, and older children aged 12+ would be best to match her sensitive nature. Margot would be happiest as the only dog in the home, where she can fully relax and enjoy her environment, though she may enjoy the company of a few calm, similar-sized dog friends on walks. She could potentially live with other animals again given careful introductions, as she has previously lived with different types of animals and enjoys making friends with the local cats near her foster home . Her new family should be prepared to introduce time alone gradually, offering reassurance and routine to help her settle and build confidence.
