Ted's ideal home
Meet Ted, an 11-year-old Pomeranian looking for his retirement home. He is looking for adopters who are happy to learn his body language to understand how he's feeling and what he is trying to communicate. Ted would benefit from continuing his basic training and building a bond with a vet to improve his vet handling. Ted’s ideal home would have lots of beds and different places for him to get cosy with a toy or chew and be given space when enjoying one. However, he will always choose your lap over a bed, given the opportunity! Ted could live with children aged 12+ and have regular visitors once settled. He is looking to be the only dog and pet in the home, to soak up all the attention for himself. He would love a private or communal garden to enjoy pottering around in and taking in all the smells; however, he doesn't have to have one, as long as his needs are being met.

Ted is a very happy little guy; he loves to make himself known and will greet everyone with a big smile and lots of energy. He would sit and have fuss all day long if he could! Out and about, Ted always checks back in with his handler and comes running back for a snuggle. He plays nicely and enjoys toys that squeak. Ted has a more refined palate, so prefers higher-value treats and snacks. In his kennel, Ted enjoys his cosy bed and all of his stuffed toys. He is quiet and relaxed, spending his days watching the world go by. If you could offer Ted his cosy forever home, you could be his pawfect match!
