About This Dog
Hi, my name is Daisy and my sister is called Rosie. We were both born on 29/5/2017.
Through no fault of our own, we are looking for a new lovely human(s) home, to look after us and love us very both very much together forever, as we have always been together since we were born and we don’t want to be separated.
Unfortunately our human mummy and daddy are really very sad, as they are not able to keep us forever, due to personal reasons. When they bought us, they really did intend to keep us forever but their circumstances are so different now. They still love us both to bits and it is very difficult for them both to do this.
We are very good and happy girls and we love mixing with everyone. We especially love lots of cuddles and snuggling up to our humans. We are very sociable and friendly with big and small humans and other doggies too. In fact, whenever Rosie meets people when we are out she will often roll over onto her back and hope to get an extra belly rub. I usually love to have my back rubbed more than my tummy and if you can reach the back of my ears to have a little tickle, I feel like I am in heaven!
Our human mummy and daddy have 6 grandchildren and they all love to play with us too. We don’t like to be dragged along by them on a lead though so mummy doesn’t let the littlies, take us out or hold us captive, so that we can all enjoy our time together.
Rosie is less keen than me when going to the vets and she gets really, really scared, when the vet tries to squirt the nasty medicine up her nose, she growls at the vet too sometimes so that makes the vet scared of her too! So mummy and the vet decided to pop a little muzzle on her nose when she goes there to help them both. This is the only time she has to wear one though and she also seems to quite like wearing it too.. I’m not sure what all the fuss is about myself, so I’m normally quite a good girl when I go there so I don’t scare the vet. When we go to the groomers, we are both very good girls and we both love to have a bath, haircut and pamper session etc.
Some people often get us both mixed up as we are quite alike, but I can tell you a secret of how to tell us from each other! Rosie is slightly taller than me and also looks a bit thinner because her coat isn’t quite as thick and fluffy as mine. She also has a darker patch of hair beneath her neck.
I, Daisy, although slightly smaller, think I am the boss because Rosie lets me eat her dinner if I race her to finish mine first. I think that’s really kind of her, but mummy keeps an eye on us both to make sure Rosie doesn’t lose any weight. The other main difference is that my hair is darker on my back than Rosie’s and I am slightly lighter haired on my neck.
If you think you would be able to give us both a good loving home and keep us safe too, please get in touch with my human mummy. Thank you for learning about us both.
